B&B Professional Painting was founded in 1975 by Ben Pettinato, with the support and dedication of his wife, Linda Pettinato, and was built on a simple mission to deliver quality craftsmanship and treat every client with honesty, respect, and care.

Known throughout the community as “Benny the Brush,” Ben built more than a business. He built lasting relationships and a reputation for genuinely caring about the people he served.

What began as a small, family-run operation has grown into a trusted name throughout Sarasota and Manatee County, known for consistency, reliability, and pride in the work.

Their daughter, Belinda Pettinato, grew up around the business and officially joined in 2007, working alongside her family and learning every aspect of the trade. Today, as the owner, she carries that legacy forward while bringing a modern approach to client experience, project management, and continued growth.

Founder

Ben Pettinato founded B&B Professional Painting in 1975, building the company from the ground up after starting as a painter himself. Known throughout the community as “Benny the Brush,” he earned a reputation not just for his work, but for how he treated people. He built lasting relationships with clients and a loyal team that remains a part of B&B today, setting the standard for the company’s culture and values.

Belinda Pettinato

Owner & Project Operations

Belinda Pettinato grew up around the family business and officially joined B&B Professional Painting in 2007, learning the trade alongside her father. Today, she manages day-to-day operations, working closely with clients and overseeing projects from start to finish to ensure everything runs smoothly. She takes pride in continuing the relationships and reputation her family has built over the past 50 years.

Thomas Wayne

Lead Painter

Thomas has been with B&B Professional Painting for over 40 years, making him one of the most experienced members of the team. He is known for his attention to detail and the care he brings to every project, especially in staining and sealing and fine custom trim work. Thomas takes pride in doing things the right way and has played a key role in upholding the standards B&B is known for today.

Luke Sikorski

Lead Painter

Luke has been with B&B Professional Painting for over 25 years and brings a deep understanding of all aspects of the trade. His experience shows in the consistency and quality of his work across a wide range of projects. He plays a key role in helping guide projects and ensuring the standards B&B is known for are carried through from start to finish.

Sandor has been with B&B Professional Painting for over 20 years and is known for his consistency, reliability, and strong work ethic. Cody has been with B&B Professional Painting for over 15 years and is known for his versatility and problem-solving skills. In addition to being an excellent painter, he brings a strong handyman background and is often the one the team relies on when unexpected challenges come up. His willingness to take on difficult situations and find solutions makes him a valuable part of the team.
